Neon Again

This is a simpler sub-nucleus progression,

It provides for a 2p+,1e-, sub unit.  A sub unit in a  \(B\)  orbit below the outer most  \(B\)  orbit is unexposed and shielded from chemical reactions, ionization, photoelectric effects, etc.  And so is relatively stable.

The atom configuration for Neon could be,

But still, why is this particularly stable?
