Vacuum Chamber, α+2 Particles And Dry Ice

 Helium nucleus at vboom=0.3066ms1,

He2vboomO8

more elaborately,

He2vboomBe4vboomC6vboomO8...

amongst the mess,

C+2OCO2

carbon and oxygen combines to give dry ice.

A radioactive source of alpha particles can readily achieve speed above the vboom speed of 0.3066ms1 on exit.  The point is to observe helium nucleus at vboom after being slowed by gravity.

Does the alpha particles disintegrate, fuse and then two of the fusion products form into dry ice?  All fusion products, Beryllium, Carbon, Oxygen...should also be found.

This experiment would also indicate that fusion can be very very cold.

Previously, alpha particle was confused as beta particle.
