Beam yourselves up a geosynchronous platform,
then beam yourselves down somewhere. Easier with kinetic beams then time energy beams; all that is needed is to brake. But it is easier still to set up midpoints on elevated lands than to go into orbit.
The first jump back in time lands on the platform, the second jump from the platform lands on earth further back in time. You cannot go anywhere you wish; this platform set up is restricted when using time beams.
