"Flip the battery over, honey."
But which side was up? Once the electrolyte drains gas forms up. The bloated side was up. The damage is permanent. Cannot reverse the chemical reactions and squeeze the gas back in, no matter how the battery is flipped.
Don't call me honey, I smell like sour cheese.
The battery sent was stored with the contacts downward, standing up. The battery is slightly bloated, and so less firm, at the bottom. It will charge but has very low capacity and discharge immediately when loaded; high voltage regulation.
